Smith LawnScapes is a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company serving the Greater Lansing area for over 20 years. We are a true one-stop shop, performing landscaping, hardscaping, excavation, lawn installs, irrigation, and snow management in house. Our reputation is built on integrity, craftsmanship, and a strong team culture.

We're hiring a Landscape Foreman to lead daily field operations, set the pace on job sites, and ensure high-quality work is completed safely and professionally. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and knows how to keep a crew productive and motivated.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside a crew of 2+ team members on daily landscape projects
• Coordinate and execute installation and maintenance work (planting, mulching, pruning, grading, etc.)
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Monitor job progress and report completion, issues, or delays to leadership
• Operate landscape equipment safely and efficiently
• Support snow removal operations during the winter season

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of landscaping experience (crew leadership strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance best practices
• Ability to operate landscape equipment safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• CDL and/or Chauffeur's License preferred (not required)
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication, time management, and team leadership skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment
• $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and leadership ability
